Jim is a Senior Partner and Lead Financial Advisor with CFG. His team's main area of practice is comprehensive financial planning for individuals and families and business continuation planning for corporations and closely held businesses. Jim is a graduate of Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts as well as the Boston University program for financial planners. He serves on the board of directors for both the MassMutual Agents Association and the Eagle Chamber of Commerce and is also a member of the Stonehill College Alumni Council.

Jim splits his time between his "Mountain office" in the breath taking Vail Valley of Colorado and his "Ocean office" in the historic and beautiful city of Boston, MA. Jim, his wife Denise and their two children Sam and Kate enjoy skiing and hiking together in the mountains of Colorado and New England.

Aly joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2012 as Jim’s Executive Assistant and has since transitioned into the role of Director of Operations. Prior to working with Jim, Aly worked in the hospitality industry for Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Hotels. Aly resides in beautiful Eagle, Colorado with her husband and two boys. She enjoys hiking, camping, and reading.

Perry has worked with Commonwealth Financial Group for over 18 years. Other experiences include Trust Officer with US Trust Company of New York, Advanced Sales Attorney with New England Life and the Financial Services Director of a large New England CPA firm.

Perry graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with an AB in Policy Studies and Government, and then received his JD at American University and LL.M. (Tax) at Boston University Law School. He also holds CLU, ChFC, and CFP® designations, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in Massachusetts.

Perry provides technical support to our partners in both estate and business planning. He does not practice law on behalf of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company or MML Investors Services, LLC.

Perry and his wife Eva enjoy hiking, swimming and traveling.

 


 

Gregory Perullo

Gregory L. Perullo joined Commonwealth Financial Group in June of 2010 as Director of Producer Services. Prior to this position he directed all New Business operations and Compliance activities for the Charter Oak Boston Mass Mutual Office. Greg also was an active duty serviceman in the U.S. Marine Corps. Greg earned two promotions during his military service and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1995. Currently, he is a member of the Second Marine Division Association and the American Legion. Greg, his wife Adriana and their twin children Vanessa and Vincent enjoy mountain biking, camping, golf, snowboarding, and travel.

Jack joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2005 after working with Bay State Financial Services, where he was an analyst for 2 years performing estate planning analyses. He has developed and managed our Design Center with a Financial Planning Department for 10 years. At the end of 2014 Jack began specializing in providing support and training on advanced and business planning concepts along with continuing producing business valuations as part of the CFG process.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Michigan. In addition, he holds the CFP designation and a graduate certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.

Paul joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 1986 from New England Financial, where he was an Operations Assistant. Paul has worked in a number of roles with Commonwealth Financial Group and is currently using his knowledge and 20+ years of experience in client services, product knowledge and new business underwriting to support and educate our agent partners through the Design Center.

Paul enjoys playing the trumpet and formerly performed with the renowned Boston Pops.

In 2014 Mike joined Commonwealth Financial Group as the Director of the Design Center. Mike began his career at Baystate Financial services in Boston in 2005 as a case design analyst, specializing on the LEAP & eMoney platforms. In 2011, he transitioned his career to MassMutual in the Portland, Oregon agency as the Case Design Director responsible for analysis, recommendations & case design for all of the agency clientele. Mike enjoys sports, relaxing in New Hampshire on the weekends & spending time with his wife Allison.

Dan joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2013 as a Design Center Analyst. In his role, he works with the Design Center team assisting in case analysis, as well as helping to implement eMoney as a financial planning and practice management tool. Prior to joining CFG, Dan worked in the Financial Planning Department at Baystate Financial where he acted as a Case Manager for fee-based financial planners, specializing in eMoney. He graduated from Bentley University with a degree in Finance and a Liberal Studies Major in Ethics and Social Responsibility. Dan’s personal interests are playing and watching sports, traveling, and movies.

Ben joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2014 as an Investment Specialist. Prior to joining CFG, Ben worked in the Financial Planning Department at Baystate Financial in Boston where he acted as a Senior Case Manager for fee-based financial planners, specializing in eMoney. Ben then took a position as an Agency Supervisory Officer at MassMutual Oregon in Portland in order to expand his compliance knowledge within a highly regulated industry and obtain licensing as a Registered Principal. Ben is newly married to his wife Elissa and he enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with close friends and family.

 


 

Maureen McGrath

Maureen joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 1975 after receiving her degree from Acquinase Jr. College Secretarial School. Maureen started in client services and later moved to policyholder services. Maureen is now our New Business Coordinator and manages our front office operations. She is an important liaison between agents and the Home Office in the New Business process. She also is actively involved with our agent partners’ practices, acting as a valuable source of information on all things related to underwriting. Maureen enjoys knitting, reading and movies.

Ami joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2011. She started in financial services in 2000 and has held many roles including: Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Recruiting and Career Development and Practice Management Specialist while always maintaining her role as a Financial Advisor. Ami earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance at Bentley University. Currently, Ami serves as the Senior Agency Supervisory Officer (ASO). As the Senior ASO, she oversees the supervision of our Agency’s field force to ensure adherence to the rules and regulations set by the state and federal regulators as well as our home office. Outside of her professional work, Ami enjoys spending time in one of her most important roles as a mom to her daughter, Lillian.
